In 2017, BOS entered into a joint venture with its strategic Japanese partners Taiyo Electric Co Ltd and Sanshin Electric Corporation, to form BOS Marine Offshore Engineering Corporation (BOSMEC) which is headquartered in Tokyo and operates an engineering office in Osaka. Leveraging on the Japanese partners’ vast networks and connections in Japan, BOS will continue to explore and introduce its Green initiatives in the Japanese maritime industry. BOS also started Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pipe installation for Japan shipyards in 2018.
